Susquehanna University’s Annual Halloween on the Ave Moved to October 30

Selinsgrove, PA – Susquehanna University announced today that Halloween on the Ave

will take place on Oct. 30 instead of Oct. 31 due to the expected inclement weather
predicted for Halloween.
The event will take place at its regular scheduled time of 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on
University Avenue and is open to the public. Hot dogs and popcorn will be provided by the
Student Life office and each Greek house will provide candy to children. WQSU,
Susquehanna’s radio station, will provide music for the event and have games available for
children to play.
Halloween on the Ave activities include performances by the Susquehanna
University Dance Team, an activity tent and Tau Kappa Epsilon’s annual Haunted House.
The Haunted House costs $2 per person and will benefit St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
Halloween on the Ave is an event sponsored by Susquehanna University to
strengthen the bonds between the university and Selinsgrove community.
