How to make a Gnocchi di Palate

Speaking of Gnocchi, a lot of people might ask what is that? Gnocchi is an Italian

cuisine, which look like little dough. This cuisine is Italian home cooking, so it’s hardly

be found at restaurant, today I’m going to teach you how to make this dish.

Gnocchi is kind of pasta, but the different thing is there’s potato in Gnocchi’s

dough, as adding potato will make its’ texture softer. Hers are the ingredients you will

need to make Gnocchi: 2 lb. russet potatoes, 6-3/4 oz. (1-1/2 cups) unbleached all-

purpose flour, 1 tsp. kosher salt, 1 large egg. First, put the unpeeled potatoes in a large

pot. Fill the pot with enough cold water to cover the potatoes and bring to a simmer

over medium-high heat for 30 to 35 minutes. Find a small bowl, mix the flour with

the salt. Add the egg to the potatoes and then add the flour mixture. Mix with your

hands until the flour is moistened, and the dough starts to clump together. Next roll

the dough piece on the floured surface into a rope about 3/4 inch in diameter and

place a gnocchi pillow against the tines of the fork or gnocchi board. After the dough

had finish, you can start with you whatever sauce or favorite pesto you'll be serving

on the Gnocchi.

Gnocchi are the food develop when the war comes, people don’t have food to

eat. As the time pass, now Gnocchi has become a glory delicious Italian cuisine. This

delicious cuisine is also easy to make, you should really try to make it at home.
