GASKETS

Seals:
Seals are generally moulded or
machined product, often flat and round
such as an O-ring. Gaskets are cut into
different shapes so that they fit the design
and bolt spacing of a component.
Gaskets:
A gasket is a mechanical seal which fills
the space between two or more mating surfaces,
generally to prevent leakage from or into the
joined objects while under compression.

When a Seal is used between Gaskets are used to seal two
