It’s okay to be alone

It’s okay to be alone at times. It’s fine if your phone doesn’t buzz the whole day.
Sometimes, the calmness is better than the happening and cool life others are
posting about. It’s cool to hang out with yourself, watching your favorite movies,
reading your favorite books, and enjoying the music that keeps you alive. It’s good
to sit in peace and think about things you deeply feel about. It’s enriching to
breathe life in all its shades, looking back at the years gone by. Yes, we do need
people, but sometimes, it’s you whom you need the most.

In all the years that you have already lived, you must realize by now that must
people are temporary. They leave, gifting away memories and lessons. And so
much of your time was spent on them. Somewhere, you lost to me with yourself,
your soul. You became a part of their life, their circle, and their routine.

You just didn’t give enough time to your own universe, you still have some dreams
breathing almost dead in your veins. You still have the deep conversation
abounded mute in your core. You still haven’t given yourself a chance to know
yourself more.

So maybe, you should take this loneliness as a silver lining. You should use this
alone time to feed your soul. Ask yourself some questions. Uncomfortable
questions, about life and its purpose. Dig deep inside and find a mission in life. We
all aren’t born with the same talent, accepted. But, we all have the same soul, and
maybe your soul is searching for just one spark to light up the universe. And where
to find that spark?
Well, within you, of course.

“Enough with this deep philosophical bullshit. What exactly to do?” you must be
wondering. Well, sit down with a piece of paper and pen. Write down “what I want
in life”. And now, think. Think hard. Think in peace and think as if your life depends
on it. And when something sparks inside, write it down. Do it for as long as you can
and come back to it until the list is complete. Now keep thinking about what
should I do more, the plan of action. And note the plan down as well. Don’t share
it with anybody, not even with your lover or best friend. Keep it personal, like a
personal chat between you and your soul.

The beauty of life is with friends and family, ye accepted. But the purpose of life is
within you. So, be a little selfish about your life and do find time for your soul.
Look back at years gone by, you won’t be able to count the days that you gave to
yourself, just yourself. Don’t let that happen anymore.

“Life is about people, yes, but life is about living as well. So, live
slow and deep, sometimes, with yourself, alone”
