Description:
Credit Suisse Group is a Switzerland-based multinational financial services holding company,
headquartered in Zürich, that operates the Credit Suisse Bank and other financial services investments.
The company is organized as a stock corporation with four divisions: Investment Banking, Private
Banking, Asset Management, and a Shared Services Group that provides marketing and support to the
other three divisions.

Working on automation of a .NET Application, ETL Testing - SQL Server 2008 and XML automation.
Application name is Charles River Development (CRD). It is a Trade management system. Worked on
automation of below 3 modules.

i) Order Execution Process : Order Initiation from Bulk order execution and manually from
CRD application.
ii) Systematic Marget Group (SMG) – Trade Forwarder : In this businees we are expected to
receive around 20k orders and 450k – 750k fills daily( very high when compared with other
businesses). All these trades will be loaded to CRS_SMG(a new instance) after being
compressed (based on compression logic). It consists of ETL Testing.
iii) SMG - Mitre : Trades created using Trade forwarder will be reported to Mitre in XML format
for complaince.

 Performing Feasibility Analysis of Application to be automated.

Education Management Corporation (EDMC) is one of the largest providers of private post-secondary
education in North America, based on student enrollment and revenue. It is an Enterprise managing
their Ground and Online University activities that Include Student Application processing, Conducting
Educational Programs, Tracking Student placements and debts.

Handled multiple Applications/Modules for Automation using QTP and ALM. These are Web
Applications. Below are the Application details.
1) Student Portal – Used by Students (Ex: Online Registration). Maintenance of existing scripts

2) Faculty / Staff Portal - (Used by EDMC Staff / Faculty, Ex: Post attendance, post grades based

Location Master UI is a web portal, where the Wal-Mart Locations are created. For creating one
Location (Store), we have two main services. One is, ‘Add New Location’, where User will enter the
data for different screens are like ‘Add new/Takeover project’ then the corresponding information will
be sent to the Manager for approval. Once it is approved User will enter the data for ‘Physical
Address’, ‘Location Setup’, ‘Location Financials’ and ‘Location Operations’. The Second service is,

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

The Objective of WC Automation is to check the application reliability, while reducing the time
and cost of software quality programs during the test process. The Automation test suite is designed in
such a way that the test scripts could be reused to test the new releases/versions of the application
with the minimal changes for the functionalities provided in the test suite. This will allow the
management to make decisions on testing scope, test coverage, and test timelines for subsequent
releases based on business priorities.
Quick Test Professional has been identified as the tool to automate the Workers comp
Application. All the functional libraries that will be created for automation will be modularized and
reusable, so that the same library can be reused for various test scripts. A single driver script will be
used to invoke all the necessary libraries for the test case. The usage of modularized approach will
considerably reduce the number of unique scripts used in automation and thereby reduce the time
required for test script generation.
