1A)A coefficient of friction is a value that shows the relationship between two objects and the

normal reaction between the objects that are involved. It is a value that is sometimes used in
physics to find an object's normal force or frictional force when other methods are
unavailable.

The coefficient of friction is shown by Ff = μFn In that equation, Ff is the frictional force, μ is the
coefficient of friction, and Fn, is the normal force.
the coefficent, by telling us friction when no objects are moving allows us to calculate the relevant friction
value by multiplying that force by the normal force, which is the force created by the reaction between two
objects.
F=MA
M = 4kg
A = Force of gravity = 10N

Normal F = 4*10
1B ) Largest value without overpowering friction. (Friction normal * coefficent)

1c) Just force of friction

1d ) It’d be 40 + 15 =55 for normal force and 55 * .2 =11

2) You know the force is normal times mew.

6 = (.25)(N)
N = m*g
6 = (.25)(10)(m)

3) 150 grams/1000 = kilograms 0.15 * 100 = 1.5. Coefficent = .25 1.5/.25 = 6
