EXTERNALLY FLANGED TANKS panels.
Wherever possible externally flanged tanks should be utilised
because –
Assembly bolts in the tank sides and base are external for
ease of assembly, maintenance and inspection.
They feature a self draining base for total drainage.
To install an externally flanged tank –
500mm clearance is required all round and underneath the
tank for access.
900mm clearance above the tank is required in the vicinity
of our standard hinged access manway.
Clearance in other areas above the tank top can be
reduced as the cover of the tank is internally bolted.
All Braithwaite externally flanged tanks up to 3 metres in
depth are full span as standard i.e. they only require
supports at 1 metre centres.
