SYNOPSIS
The EEL covers 50% of the whole assessment for the subject BPK 40802/BDA 41002. In this
module students (in a group) are required to organize any one of the three options of business
project/activity. Each group is free to choose any suitable projects/activities.
OBJECTIVES
2) Investigate types of resources that can be used to plan and evaluate entrepreneurial
projects/activities.
3) Enable students apply entrepreneurship theory(s) and concepts that they learn in the class into
real entrepreneurship projects/activities

Scope
1. This projects/activities aims to provide a better understanding of the theoretical foundations
of entrepreneurship and for students to personally experience what it takes to become an
entrepreneur by developing and implementing a simple business idea.
2. This project/activity emphasizes the (pre-) launch stage of new ventures.
Project Deliveriables
1. The group needs to choose one viable business idea (or more if posibble) product or services.
2. For products, they can choose to sell either online or offline. The product can be their own
products or products that are available in the market.
3. For services, they can choose simple services that can be done in the institution or any area
close to the institution.
4. The group needs to gain income by selling product or services from Week 2 to Week 14.
5. The TARGET NET PROFIT is RM 1000 for each groups.
6. The group needs to document all activities related to the project/activity.
7. The group need to present progress report to the lecturer.
8. The group needs to write and present a final report using the given format, covering all
activities that they have done.

Scope
1. This projects/activities aims to show the start up stage of a simple business.
2. Student will get better understanding of the theoretical foundations of entrepreneurship and
personally experience what it takes to become an entrepreneur by developing and running a
simple business idea.
Project Deliveriables
1. The institution will organize an entrepreneurship carnival/expo on week 14 that will involved
all students.
2. The group need to choose one viable business idea (or more if possible) product or services.
3. The group needs to gain income by selling product or services from Week 2 to Week 14.
4. All groups are required to sell their products or services during the carnival.
5. The TARGET NET PROFIT is RM 1000 for each groups.
6. All groups are required to plan their projects/activities independently, including selecting the
products, conducting operations and carrying out marketing strategies.
7. The group needs to document all activities related to the project/activity.
8. The group need to present progress report to the lecturer.
9. The group needs to write and present a final report using the given format, covering all
activities that they have done.

Scope
1. This project applies the entrepreneurship process to the creation of and generate income from
events, such as trainings/seminars/conference/talk show and etc.
2. This projects/activities aims to expose students to relate overall entrepreneurial theory and
processes to see potential business from event management projects/activities.
3. Events can deliver beneficial impacts and outcomes both for the students and the host
community.
Project Deliveriables
1. Maximum number of group member are 6 participant
2. The group needs to plan and organize the event independently anytime within the semester.
3. The group can run any number of event (if needed) to achive the target
4. Before running the event, the group has to prepare a proposal that covers the financial
analysis of the event, to ensure the project is viable and the group will generate income from
the event.
5. The group needs to gain income by conducting the event and the TARGET NET PROFIT is
RM 1000.
6. The group needs to document all activities related to the project/activity.
7. The group need to present progress report to the lecturer.
8. The group needs to write and present a final report using the given format, covering all
activities that they have done.
