10’ Students discuss about the meaning of the title of the song.
Presentation/ Practice
15’ Teacher gives a brief introduction of the first conditional on the white board. Give
out the handout and do exercise 2.
Production
15’ students tell their partners about their best friend. It’s is important that they pay
attention and take notes if necessary because they will have to retell it to practice 3r
person singular.
1. What does “count on me” mean to you? Who can “count on” and why?
4. Guess the meaning of the following phrasal verbs and expressions from
the song.

5. Tell your partner about your best friend. You have to describe this
person’s appearance, personality and also say why he/she is your best
friend using first conditional sentences.
