JOB RESPONSIBILITY:

 Greasing of all gate valves including casing gate valves (i.e. FMC, CAMERON, McEVOY, BREDA, DELTA,
AUDCO a, WEIR and WOOD GROUP and the like)
 Flow line, Leak testing of all valves, Function testing of SSVs.
 Routine cleaning of wellhead and its safety equipment.
 On-site repairs/ overhaul of valves.
 Function test of the valves.
 General and routine maintenance of valves and actuators.
 Replacement of wellhead chokes beans.
 Removal and replacement of wellhead valves, when malfunctioning.
 On-site repairs of well head valves including replacement of gates, seats, stem and seals (i.e. FMC,
CAMERON, McEVOY, BREDA, DELTA, AUDCO a, WEIR and WOOD GROUP and the like)
 Repair and set HP and LP Pilots,
 Replace, maintenance and testing of all types of Christmas tree and gate valves.

WORK SUMMARY:

 Wellhead:
 A wellhead is the component at the surface of an oil or gas well that provides the structural and
pressure-containing interface for the drilling and production equipment.
 The primary purpose of a wellhead is to provide the suspension point and pressure seals for the
casing strings that run from the bottom of the hole sections to the surface pressure control
equipment

 Wellhead Operations:
 Well Testing, Inspection & Operation of Christmas Tree. Flow Line Flushing Job, SSV, & SSSV,
storm Choke Operations.
 Flow line Choke changing, STHP, FTHP, Well Equalizing Well Actuation, Well Maintenance,
work over, well Completion, circulation value operation, Expansion Joint Operation, Tubing
Hanger Seal Leaking, Back Pressure Value Operation, Gas Lifting, Water Injection, Chemical
Injection, PIG Launching & receiving, inspection of pipelines for leakage & puncture.
 Well Annulus Pressure Bleeding, safety value testing, lower and upper Master value, wing value,
Arm Value, Adjustable choke & crown value operation.
 Well opening, closing operation & Trouble Shooting etc.

 Well Site:
 Well experienced in ESP pumps (Centrilift and Reda Pumps) with phoenix down hole multi
sensors for pressure, temperature, flow, vibration etc. Operation of PSION portable data collector
(PDC) for down loading the phoenix datas from well head to PDC and from PDC to computers
for data storing and chart preparations, Daily patrolling of all wells, collecting oil samples for
B.S. & W, specific gravity analysis, RVP. Visual checking of all equipments and all parameters.
 Operation of centrilift and reda pump panel, diesel generators, chemical injection pumps,
operation of sonolog, dead weight test, well testing, pigging operations

 Valve:
 Service and operation inspection of all types of valve like Ball Valve, Globe Valve, Plug Valves,
Gate Valve, Globe Valve, Butterfly Valve, Diaphragm Valve, Non returns Valve, Control valves.
 Valve Operations:
 Test valves and regulators for leaks and accurate temperature and pressure settings, using
precision testing equipment.
 Disassemble and repair valves, such as safety valves and relief valves, using power tools and hand
tools.
 Dismantle valves and replace or adjust defective parts such as springs, spring washers, slems,
disks, and nozzles.
 Recommend and write up specifications for changes in handware, such as new internals.
 Attach rigging and signal crane or hoist operators to lift heavy valves or others parts into place.

 Oil and Gas Gathering Stations:

Shooting and reporting.
 Operation and control wells through different headers for optimum production. Oil manifolds, gas
lift manifolds, surge tanks, separators (Two/three phase), dehydration tanks, water disposal
pumps, crude transfer pumps, chemical injection, gas/oil line pigging operations, well testing.
 Gas compressors, inter-stage scrubbers, gas treatment, glycol contractors, glycol regeneration
unit, gas export, routine sampling of oil, gas, and glycol & condense. Isolation & de-isolation of
equipment vessels & tanks for maintenance. Gas testing, mechanical and electrical isolation
procedures and co-ordination with maintenance crew, trouble

 Measuring Instruments handling:

 Dial Gauge (for alignment) inside micrometer, outside micrometer, vernier caliper, Spirit Level,
fulier Gauge.

 Wellhead maintenances:
 Working various types of ‘X’ MAS Tree valves, (SSV, WING, CROWN and UPPER & LOWER
MASTER VALVES). Changes for flow meters and flow transmitter, Orifice meter, Choke
Changes, Compressor & Pump Maintenance, and pipe line Maintenance.

 Static Equipment:
 Worked in Safety relief valves, filter, strainers, flame arrester and pipe line plant maintenance.
 Involved in safety relief valves overhauling & calibration and general valves gate valve, globe
valve, ball valve, check valve etc.
 Repair and change the gland packing and plant preventive maintenance of static equipment.

 Safety Equipment:
 H2S Monitor, Gas detector Fire detection system DCP, Foam, CO2 Fire Extinguisher, life jackets
and belts operation and maintenance of various types of fire lighting equipment and have
knowledge of fire and safety equipment.
 Fire Equipment:
 Operating dry chemical power, CO2 extinguishers Water sprinkle system, fusible plugs, deluge
valve operation fire monitor and hydrant operations. Fire and gas plant (pyrotronis) automation
manually release system, fire and gas detectors. Flare fuel gas system and water seal system etc.
