To Whom It May Concern,

It has been my privilege to get to know Christa Maki during her education at Grand Canyon

University as she pursued her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree. She was a member

of two classes I taught. I found her to be engaging, a critical thinker, a leader, intelligent, and

well-spoken. During the team exercises and assignment, Christa displayed effective leadership

and decision-making skills. Her thoughtful answers and discussions during class showed her to

be a caring, dedicated nurse who knew when to ask questions or seek out assistance as needed. I

believe that asking questions is a sign of high intelligence and shows high degrees of self-

awareness and self-esteem. Knowing what you do not know is just as important, if not more so,

than what you do know.

It is without hesitation that I recommend to you Christa as a Registered Nurse. I give her the

highest compliment I can think of by saying that I would be at ease knowing I or family

members were in the skilled, capable, and caring hands of such a fine nurse should the need ever

arise.

Should you need further information or have questions, please do not hesitate to let me know.

Respectfully,

Lorraine Hover, RN, MSN, BA
