In conclusion, lifting operation is concerned in lifting and lowering the load. There were many
hazards can happen while lifting and lowering the load or workers in construction site.
Employers are required to assess and reduce to an acceptable level the health and safety risks
faced by their employees. This operation can cause serious injury and fatal. In lifting operation, it
can either handled manually and by machinery. Manual load handling can refer to manual lifting,
holding, settling, carrying or moving. In construction site, they must have legal requirements of
safety and hazard for every works include the lifting operation. So, all equipment must be
maintained in a safe condition. All the employee must be suitably trained for handling the
machinery. All manufacturers of lifting equipment are obliged to send out the instructions for use
of all products.
