First Scene

Mother: (coughing) My child you are already late for work… you should go now.
Child: No mama! I need to take care of you. You are sick.
Mother: My child, your boss will fire you.

Second Scene
Daughter: Father I need to pay P100 for my school project.

Boy: Oh it is already 9 o’ clock. I’m very late for work. Maybe I’ll just call my
sweethearts… suppose to be I will have my romantic dates with them... (ringing
cellphone)
Boy: Hello!
Girl1: Where are you now? I have been waiting for so long.
Boy: I am sorry my love, I need to go to work. My boss will fire me if I can’t.
Girl1: What??? Today is SUNDAY!!! It’s your day off.
Boy: I am sorry. I have to go. I m really sorry! Bye!
(calling his other girlfriend with the same dialogue)
Boy: Hello!
Girl2: Where are you now? I have been waiting for so long.

Scene Four
In the office… (employees are all busy working)
Boss: Why are the three tables not occupied? Where are they?
Employee 1: Maybe they have a family emergency that is why they are not yet here
Sir…
Boss: What? How many times have I told you that your personal life should not
affect your job? We need to get this done by next week.
(arrival of the three late employees, chorus in explaining)

Boss: Please shut up! All of you… I don’t care. Show me your reports now! I said
NOW!
(SILENCE)
Employee2: I’m sorry boss but our computers and fax machines are not working
slowing the process…
Boss: Don’t give me that crap. Call the technical department. Listen everyone!
Tomorrow I need your reports if you will not give me the reports consider yourselves
FIRED!!!!
(boss walked out)
Employee3: That boss is so evil. He does not understand. He is so inconsiderate.
Employee1: Yeah, we need to teach him a lesson. Let’s make him realize his
mistakes.
Employee2: Let’s volt in… let us be absent for a week. Agree? Agree!!!
Others employees: AGREE!!!
Employee3: So why not make a group or a union to rally against him… we should
speak up to address our complaints.
(showing of placards, rallying employees)
(the boss arrives, people stoning him)
Boss: Calm down! Cam down! The company has already lost a million pesos
because of your disobedience… but I realize why.
(Clamor form people)
Boss: and so now, let’s settle the problems and I will listen to your complaints.
Narration: After the company has solved the problem, the employees were given

Employee 3: Sir, we have a problem in quality of production.
Boss: So what do you think must we do?
