Aim of Micro project –

The micro project aims at:-
1) To measure pollution emitted from engine exhaust of a petrol engine at idle condition by adopting
the standard procedure of PUC test

2. Intended course outcome

1) Apply techniques to reduce environmental pollution

2) Manage social issue and environmental ethics as lifelong learning

Exhaust Gas Analyser :- 4 Gas analyzer features

Measure concentration of HC, CO, CO2 contained in exhaust gases from gasoline engine of
vehicles. Designed with LCD screen for easier setting and operation automatic calculation and display of
A/F (air-fuel-ratio) and Lambda air ratio. Emissions from vehicle engine fuels of CNG, LPG and Ethanol
gasoline can be measured. Small size light weight and most convenient for carry. Designed with
inductive clip-on sensor for RPM measurement.
PUC Machine :-
Emission gas analyzer can be used for measurement of the concentration of automobile emission gas
CO, CO2 , HC, O2 and NO (optional)

It is based on pulsable infrared source and single source to beams non dispersion infrared (NDIR)
method,

This analyzer is designed with portable and smaller physical dimensions.
