Hey Luke!

It’s been a long time since the last time we spoke! How are you doing? I’ ve thought of you a lot
and hope everything is going great. As far as I’m concerned, I must admit I feel happy in
Wealdstone. This town has a different pace so you can take things easy here.

Well, let’s get to the point! I’ve something to tell you… (Don’t be afraid, I won’t borrow money
from you). There it goes: I’m going to get married next year!
Come on! Don’t be susprised! You already know I’m settled down...

The lucky one is a woman from my hometown, Rose (the girl, not the town, you fool!) . She’s thirty
years old and we went to the same school. I received her friend request on Facebook and started
chatting. Well, I think you expected a complex romantic story in a twist of fate, but it is not Notting
Hill and I’m not the freaking Hugh Grant.

Joking apart, you know life has not been easy for me these last years. The bereavements in the
family, dissatisfaction with the work, health-related problems… Nevertheless, today I can say these
things are far behind me and this would not have been possible without her. She is a key piece in
my life.

Now back to the wedding, I’ll send you some photos when the party is over… Just kidding! Of
course you’re invited to the greatest wedding ever held in London! I’m attaching the invitation and
all further information at the bottom of the email. Please confirm attendance (do not even think
about it!).
