control blood flow to the veins or arteries by pressing and releasing within a certain time span.

4. Stirrer Rod

Stirring rod are used to mix te solution. It ccan also help decantate the solution from one
container to another while solids remain in the original container. Stirring rods can induce
crystallization in the recrystallization procedure. Stirring rod can help break the emulsion in an
extraction

5. Test Tube

has the dimensions of entering a small sample vof material and to filter chemical mixtures with
gravity

7. Wire Gauze.
The function of the wire gauze is to hold the beaker or pumkin during the heating process using a
Bunsen heater or spiritus heater. The gauze is also supported by the tricycle tool at the bottom to
make the heating ptocess run optimally

8. Fume Hood

The main function of the fume hood is as an intermediary for transpoting high concentrated
acidic chemical, chemical reaction sites that use volatile materials and harmful gases, but also as a
place to store high acidic chemical.

9. Forceps

Forceps is a tools made of iron. Forceps (the tip is taper), used to take or draw some
samples. The function of forceps is to clamps a small object or very soft.

10 Burette.
The elongated cylindrical device is usuakky used for titration with high precision, or it can
also measure the volume of a solution. This tool which is equipped with a scale on the outside is
indeed designed with very accuracy, making it suitable for the purpose of quantitative volumetric
analysis.

11. Magnifying Glass

Magnifying glass have a convex lens that allows us to see object larger than their actual size.
However, object that can be observed on a magnifying glass or loop are very limited, because the
magnification of magnifying glass is smaller than the magnification of the microscope. The function
of magnifying glass is to ma is easier fo us to see smaller objects.

12. Crucible Tong

The function of crucible tong is to clamp the porcelain crucible when inserted or removed
from the oven or furnace

13. Beaker Glass

The function of the beaker glass is a container that is used to stir, mix, and heat liquids. The
shape of the beaker glass is cylindrical and is available in various size, ranging from 1 mL to several
liters.

14. Thermometer

The function of the thermometer is to measure temperature, or change in temperature. The

working principle of the meter is diverse, the most commomly used is the mercury thermometer.

15. Sikat Tabung

The function of test tube brush is to clean the test tube when before or after used at the lab.
The reaction tube brush is equipped with hard bristles whisch can maximally clean the inside of the
tube. The reaction tube brush can also be washed easily, so it can be usad repeatedly.

16. Bunsen Burner

The Bunsen bunner is a general laboratory equipment that produces a single open gas
flame, which is used for heating, sterilizing, and combustion. The gas used can be natural gas or
liquefied petroleum gas, such as propane, butane, or a mixture of both.

17. Pipette Bulb

The function of pipette bulb is to suck the solution to be measured.

18. Spot Plate

The function of the spot plate is to test the acidity of a solution or react to the solution.

19. Balance / Electronic Balance

The function of electronic balance is to measure the weight of a substance or chemical in

very small quantites. Not only is it able to weigh up to milligram size, high accuracy up to 4 digits
behind the comma is also an advantage of this laboratory tool.

20. Filter Paper

The function of filter paper is to separate suspension particles with liquid, or to separate
dissolved substances from desiccating solids which is useful for drying solids.

21. Volumetric Pipette

The function of a volumetric pipette is to take a solution of a certain volume according to

the size of the volumetric pipette function. The volumetric pipette function is to take liquids with a
certain volume with higher accuracy

22. Test Tube Rack

The function of the test tube rack is to place a large number of test tubes. This tube rack is
made of wood with the size of 35 x 7 cm and can store as many as 24 test tubes.

23. Spatula

The function of spatula is to take, mix, and stir the substance because this spoon will not be
contaminated by other substances.
24. Striker

Strikers are used to light Bunsen burners. The flints on strikers are expensive. Do not operate
the striker repeatedly just to see the sparks!

25. Mortar and Pestle

The function of this laboratory tool is to destroy or refine a material or substance that is still
solid or crystalline. In the mortar and pestle biology laboratory it is also used to destroy or refine
practical materials such as leaves, seeds, roots, proteins, DNA, RNA etc.

26. Test Tube Clamp

There are tools that are always used when reacting substances thst need to be heated in a
test tube. This tool is named the test tube clamp. Its function is to clamp the test tube when it is
heated.

27. Googles

Googles are protective googles that cover the area around the eyes. Googlescan protect
eyes from dust, and splash of liquid chemicals.
28. PH Scale

The PH Scale paper is used as a tool to determine whether the analyzed solution is acidic and
basic. Where, if the PH is red when dipped in solution, then the solutionis acidic. Meanwhile, if the
PH is dipped in a solution and colored blue, then the solution is basic.

29. Tripod

Three legs in laboratory equipment is iron which has 3 legs which has the function of
supporting the ring. The function of the tricycle is as a barrier to the gauze and a buffer during the
heating process

30. Centrifuge

Centrifuge is a device for rotating samples at high speed, forcing heavier particles to
be collected to the bottom of the centrifuge tube. The most frequent use of a centrifuge is to
separate the components of blood cells from the liquid so that the liquid can be used for
examination.

31. Graduated Pipette

The function of graduate pipette is to move the solution or liquid into a container with
various sizes of volu,e. for the size of the volume on the biggest graduated pipette is a pipette with a
volume of 50ml.
32. Weighing Paper

The function of weighing paper is often used when weighing solid and powders on analytical
balance. By preventing the substance from being removed it increases the accuracy of the
measurement.

33. Syringe

Hypodermic needles or syringes are needles that are commomly used with syringes to inject
a substance into the body. This needles can also be used to take liquid samples from the body, for
example taking blood from veins on venipucture

34. Autoclave

Autoclave is a closed heating device used to sterilize an object using high temperature and
high pressure steam (1210, 15 lbs) for approximately 15 minutes. The decease in pressure on the
autoclave is not intended to kill microorganisms, but rather increase the temperature in the
autoclave

35. Incubator

Incubator laboratory is a microbiological laboratory too that usually used (has a function) to
incubate (grow) microorganisms such as bacteria, fungi and other microbiak cells under certain
conditions

36. Room
Room very size that to count the number of blood celss by using a very small sample. The
volume of canculated room veries depending on the type of cells to be calculated

37. Microskop

The function of the microscope is general is used to see and observe object that are very

Small (microscopis) that can not be seen in plain sight. The most common type of microscope, and
the first to be invented, is an optical microscope

38. Stir Plate / Hot Plate

Hot plate stirrer and stirrer bar (magnetic stirrer) function to homogenize a solution with
stirring. The plates contained in this tool can be heated so as to accelerate the homogenization
process stirring with the help of hot plate and hot plate & stirrer (digital) RSH-1DR series magnetic
