DFC Family Water Night at Pirates Cove

The Children’s Department is sponsoring a fun filled evening on
Friday, July 25th from 6:45 - 8:30 pm at Pirates Cove Water Park. Cost
is $5/person or $25/immediate family. Children must be

Preschool Outing This Tuesday, July 15th

Preschoolers and their parents are invited to join us at the Littleton
Historic Museum at 10:00 am on Tuesday. Bring a sack lunch. This is
a free event!

Waves/DOGs Summer Camp to Lone Tree (July 14-18)

For all those signed up (5th -10th grade) - we leave tomorrow.
Please meet at the DFC south patio at 11:00 am on Monday. Please
remember to bring a sack lunch and drink and we will stop along the
way for lunch. We will return Friday around 6:00 pm.

Greetings and welcome to DFC on this brilliant Sunday morn-
ing. Can you experience with me the joy of having a Sunday
without a "special" emphasis? Since the end of April, we've had
Faith Promise Sunday, Children's Sunday, Mother's Day, Memorial
Day, Senior Sunday, Father's Day and Biker Sunday...and I'm sure
I've left some out. What a relief to just come together today to
share in fellowship and faith.
Some of you are participating in the District Assembly this week.
All of you are welcome to attend any of the sessions which will be
held at the Lakewood church starting tonight with the Missions
Convention. HOWEVER, we will have both services meeting here
tonight (theClay and the Traditions service) on our normal sched-
ule.
Finally, thanks to all who worked SO HARD on the events of last
weekend. Dixie Whittaker deserves a medal of some kind for her
untiring efforts to pull together a bunch of unruly bikers (Gene
Beyers), a choir, a concert and several meals. She had lots of peo-
ple helping, and a big thank you to them as well.
