PRIMARY OBJECTIVES

• Effectively lead the Quality Assurance team in ensuring all products meet company, regulatory
and customer requirements
• Manage and develop all Quality Assurance Systems
• Develop and control capital and expenditure budgets.
• Ensure that all relevant staff associated with manufacturing are trained in key quality activities
and processes
• Analyse trends/performance and report monthly on departmental activities and metrics.
• Contribute to the effective functioning of the Company's Corporate Governance and Risk
Management (CGRM) system to ensure it meets the needs of the business and end users
• Provide high level advice and information to all key internal and external stakeholders in relation
to quality, food safety and compliance
• Promote and ensure safe attitudes and work practices

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

SELECTION CRITERIA

Essential Criteria Desirable Criteria


 Preferred tertiary qualifications or equivalent  Previous experience in and knowledge of the
formal studies with extensive and successful wine industry
experience in the implementation and
management of Quality Assurance systems.
 Minimum 5 years experience in a food/
beverage production/manufacturing
environment
 Comprehensive understanding and practical
application of relevant standards, specifications
& legislation
 Well developed technical and process skills,
analysis and problem identification skills
 Management experience
 Excellent communication/interpersonal skills
 Proven capacity to lead, direct and motivate
the workforce
 Highly developed records management and
reporting skills
