Standards
Old concrete:
Monoseal complies with ASTM C309, Type I, Class A and Apply using brush or lambs wool roller, or airless spray
B, and ASTM C1315, Type I, Class A. machine. Apply 2 coats of Monoseal onto old concrete
floors at a rate between 8 - 10 m2/litre.
Method of Use
New concrete:
Substrate Preparation For use as curing compound, apply in a single coat at a
rate of 8 - 10 m /litre. Second coat is op onal.
The substrate must be sound, clean, dry, even, dense
and free from oil, grease, dust and other contaminants. Monoseal in general, comes as a clear liquid. However, for
A clean surface will ensure maximum adhesion between some special cures, it can be coloured. Clear Monoseal
the substrate and the coa ng. cures to clear glossy film. It is a UV stable, and a er curing,
it gives a wet look (colour enhancer) on substrates.
Unsound layers and contaminated concrete surfaces
must be prepared using mechanical surface removing
equipment.
