Hi y'all. Recently i had a huge gas leak. We experienced a power cut whilst the gas
operating. Therefore the electronic valve did not close and we had a large gas leak
chimney loosing about 2 weeks worth of gas for hot water use here.
I was lucky that there was no explosion as there was a wood stove burning in the h
the time and they share the same chimney pot (separate flues side by side).
I decided to do a search to see if it is recommended to shut off the gas during a po
but i don't see this information anywhere.
I'm surprised that this is not common knowledge. Was i unlucky that the valve did

In one of our case---Unit was running at 96 MW with 3 mills in service and one gun
elevation, all 3 mill got tripped on loss of PA.unit was not tripped on flame failure is
logically correct.

yaa correct, it depends on the quality of flame being maintained in the furna
when the mills trips, the furnace pessure will go to nagative which lead the
flame to become unstable. The maximum chance is there that the unit trips
failure but how u r boiler have saved. You please see the furnace pressure t
the time of mill trips out. It means furnace draft control system working fine

It has been seen that with 30% air flow we are able create adequate scavenging of
fuel in the furnace. Increasing this further did not help much. As you are purging w
large volumes also take away the heat without any advantage.
