Provide network surveillance, problem resolution, monitoring of all Cobranet network elements and

wireless equipment such Radwin, Ubiquiti and Cambium radios as well as ensuring that network
faults are resolved to company requirements and Clients satisfaction.
-Also improve network performance by providing real time and prompt resolution to all network
faults. Monitor and acknowledge all alarms from all network elements such as Transmission and
Power Networks. Identification of network alarms or certain conditions requiring special attention to
avoid impact on the network's performance.
-Analyzing bandwidth usage using software applications such as CACTI and Procera frontend tools
for network graphing and data gathering. Monitor performance statistics and generate daily and/or
weekly reports when required.
-Monitoring network stability using network tools such as; WhatsUp Gold map to monitor the entire
network sites and devices,Telemetry system for site power and voltage monitoring, PRTG Network
monitoring tool, Ubiquiti Air Control and Radwin NMS monitoring tools for proactive monitoring of
latencies, packet losses and other related incidents immediately.
-1st level troubleshooting and examination of technical issues as regards client’s CPE, router
(Mikrotik) or network AP. Prompt escalation and reporting of incidents, alarms, events and faulty
devices or hardware detected after troubleshooting (which cannot be resolved remotely) to the Field
Engineers for repair/ replacement.
-Ensure proper monitoring and implementation of all network changes according to the organisation
processes and procedures. Provide regular update on network performance and other network issues
to NOC Management, Support department.
-Act as interface between Cobranet and Co-Location Sites to obtain and provide access codes to
NOC Field Engineers, Power Technicians for planned maintenance requests.
