Course Description This course introduces students to the concepts underlying effective operations of
planning, operating, and controlling production of goods and services. The course includes
approaches to forecasting, inventory management, aggregate planning, materials
requirements planning (MRP), layout and location strategies and quality control practices
that help to improve the productivity of an organisation.
