1. ESOP application letter (1–2 pages). Mention your interest in your preproposals topic and why you think you are eligible for
ESOP.
2. Pre-proposal for your Master’s thesis
Describe your prospective Master’s thesis project (incl. title, excl. references: max. 500 words). The exact topic will be agreed with
the thesis supervisor during the programme. Make sure, that the proposal is in line with specific research fields of lecturers of the
study programme you apply for.
3. Current CV
4. Two letters of recommendation from professors
5. ETH students only: Copy of transcript of records
