The primary function of this flavor is to modify the taste and flavor attributes of the product in which it is used
(i.e. to act as a flavor as defined by Codex Alimentarius*). If it is used in such a way as to fulfill another
function, the advice given in relation to its permissible use and/or declaration may not apply.

* A flavor is defined by Codex Alimentarius as “the sum of those characteristics of any material taken in the
mouth, perceived principally by the senses of taste and smell, and also the general pain and tactile receptors
in the mouth, as received and interpreted by the brain”.

This product does not contain ingredients (as defined in article 2.2(f) of Regulation (EU) N° 1169/2011) derived
from GMOs and hence its use as a component of foodstuffs or food ingredients intended for the final
consumer will not on its own, trigger the labelling of these foodstuffs as indicated in article 13.1 of Regulation
(EC) N° 1829/2003 on genetically modified food and feed.
