Description

This Repot is prepared for the rectification of 5th floor damaged beam. Before starting the

work, Proposal and method statement has been submitted to the structural engineer on 13th

December 2018 (Method Statement For Damaged Beam Rectification – CJS).Therefore the

work has been carried out as per the above indicated method statement and during the each

part of works photos taken to keep our record purpose and the relevant party approval.

2. Material

The following photos illustrate the material purchase is carried out as per the method

statement.
3. Work Procedure

The Following photos has been taken to show that work is completed as per the method

statement.

a) Damaged part of the beam has been marked and surface chipped.
b) Adequate hole provided for anchor bolt as per the shop drawing and Anchoring Epoxy is
provided for each bolt. Therefore, both side steel plate has been fixed after the providing
grout for the chipped surface.
c) High strength grout is provided for
the bottom part of the beam. After a day
later bottom steel part has been fixed and
corner welding is provided.
d) Finally anti corrosive paint has been applied for the steel plate surface for corrosion
protection.
