Attention 6th Semester students. This is regarding the Format for Assignment no.

2 of The subject
History of Built Environment-VI. The last date for submission of which is 22nd March 2018:

In a group of two (or Individual) you are required to compose an A-2 size panel in colour medium having
the following information:

~ A border of 10mm should be observed in the composition of the A2 size sheet (and not drawn). A
CSPA logo with the details viz. Names, Roll numbers and subject. Should be present at the lower right
corner of the sheet.

~ The brief write-up of less than 100 words in a font height of 10mm (Capitals), about the style of
architecture chosen and a list of 4 to 5 Salient Architects associated with this style. This should be
composed at top left corner of the sheet.

~ The rest of the space on the sheet (Landscape format only) must cover ‘Two Best examples of the
Architectural style chosen, with Two photographs/views (No photograph should be less than 100mm
from any side) of the building and Plan/ site plan. This should be accompanied by the details viz.
Name/Location/Architect/Context of the building and a ‘Point wise’ 4-5 points (And not a paragraph)
explaining the Style/ Main Elements/ Structure of the building.

~ Please note that the background should be plain white (or with a light watermark, if it helps your
presentation)

~ The preparation of the submission should be Digital only , as it is a sorry state that the basic
architectural skill sets of presentation of your class are lacking, when it comes to using the digital media,
compositional structure, colour themes and valid informational presentations. So to improve that * No
hand drawn sheets shall be accepted*.

We do hope that, your submission of the assignment 2, shall not carry any useless data and that it will
be a useful document of information on the architectural style that you have chosen for any body taking
their reference.
