TOPICAL METHOD OR THEMATIC STUDY METHOD

TBSM involves approaching a biblical theme with a set of not more than five
predetermined question in mind. Then you can trace that theme through the Bible or
single book by asking only those questions, summarizing your conclusions and writing a
personal application.

Procedure or Step of this Bible Study method.

1. Choose a theme to Study. A theme you are interested to study.

2. List all verses you intend to study ( Use Concordance, Topical Bible, or study
bible.
3. Decide on the questions you will ask.. List at least five questions would you like
to know about the topic you had chosen.
4. Ask your questions of each reference and answer.
5. Develop and outline.
6. Draw a conclusion of your study.
7. Write out a personal application
