1) NABET is one of the constituent Board of Quality Council of India (QCI) and is engaged in

Accreditation for Schools & Vocational Training Institutes.

2) NBA in its present form came into existence as an autonomous body with effect from 7th
January 2010, with the objective of Assurance of Quality and Relevance of Education,
especially of the programs in professional and technical disciplines, i.e., Engineering and
Technology, Management, Architecture, Pharmacy and Hospitality, through the mechanism
of accreditation of programs offered by technical institutions.

3) National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) was established in 1994 as an

autonomous institution of the University Grants Commission (UGC) with its Head Quarter in
Bengaluru.
