Al-Hafeez Enterprise is a sport shoe retails business and has been established as a sole
proprietorship entity. We sell branded sport shoes that varies from Adidas, Nike, Rebook and
Puma and formed by a group of members whom have over a decade of experience in sport shoe
retails. AL-Hafeez Enterprise was newly established on the 1st of January 2019 with a total of
RM 200000 as an initial capital which is acquired from friends and families and mostly from
personal savings and the transaction period recorded is from the 1st of January 2019 until 31st
of January 2019.The main purpose of Al-Hafeez Enterprise is to provide high quality branded
sport shoes that follows up to the new fashion trend and design to consumers.

The reason for choosing sole proprietorship type business in sport shoe retails is that they are
easy to form, and the owner enjoy sole control of the business profits. Another reason for
choosing the business is that the owner maintains 100% control and ownership of the business.
A sole proprietorship can have only one owner, and that owner is entitled to the profits and
control of the business. With minimal licenses to obtain or separate forms to follow, sole
proprietorships are relatively easy to form, easy to maintain, and easy to dissolve.

However, there is also risks in running sole proprietorship in sport shoe retails, the biggest
possible risk of which being that the owner is personally liable for all business losses and
liabilities, debts or obligations of the business.
