To obtain high control performance, the control design should be able to cover the role of the plant.
For example: It will be difference in design of a heating system and a medical-thermal system.

To deal with the unpredictive impact, the control design should be robust at least w.r.t uncertainties.

The control system should have the storage ability that could be useful in cases of data extraction or learning (AI).

Definition: A mathematical model is a description of a system using mathematical concepts and languages.
The relationship between input and output of a linear time-invariant (LTI) system (hệ thống tuyến tính bất biến) could be
represented by a differential linear constant-parameters equation (phương trình vi phân tuyến tính hệ số hằng).

My (t ) + Ky + By (t ) = f (t )
Output: displacement of the car body (y(t) - dịch chuyển của than xe)
Input: control force (lực cưỡng bức)
Other effect: other forces (các lực khác như lực đàn hồi, masat nhớt)
The mathematical model can represent the mathematically working principles of a system and provide the prediction of
the system behavior.
Working directly from the mathematical model with high orders of time derivatives is not an easy task.
For example: given an input signal, it is very difficult to compute the output based on the differential equation.
Mv(t ) + Bv(t ) = f (t )
We need advanced methods to support the analyzing and designing the control systems more effectively!
Purpose: Convert the mathematical model with high order of time derivatives in time domain into algebraic model of
polynomials in the complex domain.

Definition: Transfer function of a system is a ratio of Laplace transformation between the input signal and the output signal
with all zero initial conditions.
Note: Even though transfer function is a ratio of Laplace transformation between the input signal and the output signal, it does
not depend on these signals. It only depend on the structure and parameters of the system.

The block diagram can show the overview of the system and represent well the interaction of the internal components.
There are several ways to compute the transfer function of a block diagram. It depends on the experience of the operator

Signal-flow graph is a network of nodes (nút) and transmission lines (đường truyền tín hiệu) where
Nodes (nút) presents for the input/output signals or sum blocks or branch-points.
Source node (nút nguồn) has only outward (hướng ra) transmission lines.
Destination node (nút đích) has only inward (hướng vào) transmission lines.
Combination node has both inward and outward transmission lines.
Transmission lines (đường truyền tín hiệu) is directly connected two nodes in which its arrow (dấu mũi tên) presents for
the signal direction (chiều của tín hiệu).

Forward path Closed loop
Transmission lines (đường truyền tín hiệu) is directly connected two nodes in which its arrow (dấu mũi tên) presents for
the signal direction (chiều của tín hiệu).
Forward paths (đường tiến) is a connection of the consecutive transmission lines from the source node to the
destination mode throughout other nodes only one time. Gain of the forward path is the multiplication of gains of the
passed transmission lines.
Closed loop (vòng kín) is a closed line of the consecutive transmission lines that have the same line direction and pass
over nodes only one time. Gain of the closed loop is the multiplication of gains of the closed transmission lines.

The Kp is bigger, the E_ss is smaller
When Kp increases,Overshoot value grows up,➔ the system easily become unstably.

Comment:
The PD regulator is a special case of the phase-lead regulator. Hence,
it could improve the transient performance, but It is extremely
sensitive with respect to the high-frequency noise.
Larger D-time constant results in faster system response.

The PI regulator is a special case of the phase-lag regulator. Hence, it
could improve the steady performance, but It is could also increase
the inertial features of the system or reduce the transient
performance.
Smaller I-time constant results in larger overshoot.
