An unforgettable trip

Dear journal, the big day has finally arrived. Today, October 22nd, my friend Alessia and I are going to
Brasov. We have decided to visit several places today and tomorrow like Poiana Brasov, Sighisoara Fortress,
Rasnov citadel and the famous Transfagarasan road.
After a couple of hours spent in the car we finally stopped in front of a pension where we took a break
and admired the lovely view. Father asked me to search on the internet for a place to stay overnight, but the
problem was that there was no signal in the area. Fortunately, I finally managed to find a place that was cheap,
but it wasn't in Brasov but in a small village near the city.

Later, we arrived in Sighisoara where we visited the citadel. Its ancient brick walls were amazing and
the sight there was unforgettable. The best part was that Sighisoara Citadel it's the only inhabited citadel in the
whole Europe.

Then we went to Poiana Brasov where we tried the famous table car. There, on top of the mountain you
could breathe in the fresh air and enjoy the beautiful view. Thanks to it, the pictures I took were amazing. When
it got dark outside we went to the pension. The worst part there was that I had to sleep upstairs where the entire
floor and staircase were occupied by creepy and old dolls. Because of them, Alessia and I had nightmares and
couldn’t sleep well that night.

The next day we decided to also visit the famous Bran castle known for its owner, Count Dracula.
Before arriving to the castle we stopped at Rasnov Citadel, a medieval construction worth seeing. I loved it
there. Then we went to Bran, but to my disappointment we couldn't enter the castle because of the crazy line at
the entrance so we agreed on leaving the city and heading towards the famous road, Transfagarasan. On the
road the view left me speechless and something unusual happened after we stopped the car. In front of us two
hungry bears appeared out of nowhere. We all got scared, hid in the car and drove away. After an hour or so I
finally saw the breath taking view of Transfagaras.

We arrived home at midnight and I was greeted by my lovely dog, Lizzi. It was an unforgettable trip.
