1. In the interest of the service, the Committee on Rewards, as created under


Executive Order No. 724, Series of 2008, is hereby reconstituted as follows:

and Monitoring Group (RCMG)

2. To provide administrative support to the Committee on Rewards, the following


are designated to the BOC Committee on Rewards Secretariat, in addition to
their existing functions.

Secretariat:

1. Head Chief, Ruling Research Division, RCMG


2. Vice Head Chief, Revenue Accounting Division, RCMG
3. Members Atty. Maria Yasmin Obillos-Mapa

3. The Committee on Rewards shall have the following duties and functions:

1. Act as custodian of Department of Finance-registered informant's


logbook on rewards;

2. Receive and safe-keep all informant's affidavits of information and all


other relevant documents required in the processing of rewards claims;

3. Process, discuss, deliberate, evaluate and recommend to the


Commissioner all claims for rewards filed by the persons instrumental in the
discovery and seizure of smuggled goods in accordance with the rules and
regulations issued by the Secretary of Finance;

4. Coordinate with the appropriate office of the Bureau in identifying the
informers who are instrumental to the discovery and seizure of such smuggled
goods; and

5. Draft, review, and revise rules and regulations to effectively implement


Section 1512 of the CMTA, as amended, in coordination with the OOF
Rewards Committee.

4. All orders and Memoranda previously issued which are inconsistent with this
Order are deemed repealed or modified accordingly.

5. This order shall be effective immediately and valid revoked by this Office.
