Universiti Putra Malaysia is conducting a study on ‘Expiry date policy proposal for vehicles in
Malaysia’. This survey is done to measure the public reactions and opinions on vehicle expiry
conditions where they are deemed no longer practical and unsafe for normal operation. This
study also assesses public opinions on the safety and maintenance issues of commercial
vehicles such as trucks, buses, trailers, heavy equipment and taxis. With your cooperation, it
can help us to propose a commercial vehicle-expiry policy as suggested by the Transport
Ministry. Therefore, we would be very happy if you could cooperate fully and answer these
questions immediately. All information provided is confidential and for research purposes
only.
