A complex compound sentence consists of two independent clauses (simple sentences) and one or

more dependent clauses.

 I didn’t study very hard when I was young, but I passed my exams without any problems.
 The job applicant who was interviewed this morning couldn’t speak English very well, so he
didn’t get the job (that) he was applying for.

What can you see in the pictures? Describe using complex compound sentences.
1. Tony and Tina do judo every Saturday and they sometimes go swimming
on Monday
