The Last Metaphor by Usman Ali

The Characters are breathing their last. They are dying because of not
being heard as their hearts are full of guilt. The reason why the writer
chose to write his guilt in the form of drama is that people are getting
away and away from the theatre and they are only interested in arts for
the sake of getting degrees. That is why he chose a sensitive topic of
guilt and numbness of people to write in the form of drama and titled as
The Last Metaphor.
Background
Coming from Mundi Bahauddin. Dog came in front of his car and got
killed he felt guilty because of dog’s death and wrote the drama (The
Last Metaphor).
Introduction
This is 3 Act play written by Usman Ali and he was born in Mundi
Bahauddin in Punjab before this work. He wrote the dramatic script for
Hamlet’s Madness. He also wrote a script of an imagined interview with
Robert Frost in 2001. An accident of crushing the dog made him full of
guilt and he started to write The Last Metaphor.
