Start assembling bay windows from the top down in order from the parts
drawing above( top to bottom). Test fit pieces first before glueing to make

practices will result in a better model.
Continue down Bay windows until all pieces are fitted, Use clamps or

Trim and Windows
Pieces needed
Tip: The trim sheet is backed before cutting with Jax double
sided adhesive sheet to allow easy sticking of clear Acetate
When exterior walls are painted and dry, windows and trim can be
installed. I prefer when all the walls are assembled but can be done
before walls are assembled but after painting.
If you intend to paint windows and trim, remove from sheet and using
masking tape in strips face up and held with another piece of tape down
at each end, on a piece of board stick all pieces onto masking tape.
Leave a little space around pieces so you can paint edges. Either
spray with rattle can or airbrush or gently paint by brush with your
choice of colour.

Remove protective cover from back.
place trim in position and press firmly into place. Jax paper needs
a bit of pressure for maximum sticking.
Tip: Burnish well from rear using hard flat tool. I use handle
of scalpel or Ice block stick.
Find matching top sash and install acetate as above. All windows are
standardised so not partically difficult to match up.
Made by W Barnard, 95 Ellison Road Springwood, NSW 2777, Australia E-Mail: barnardbuilt@gmail.com Web: barnardbuilt.blogspot.com.au
Using a brush paint some PVA glue around edge of hole, Insert
double frame first, followed by top sash. press in with end of brush
handle until both sash’s flush with front and rear of wall. This photo
clearly shows larger bottom rail. Wipe off any excess PVA with damp
clean brush and allow to dry. You can continue putting in more windows
as they dry.
When window sash’s a dry install frame and burnish down. You can also
put a drop of super glue around outside edge of frame if you want more
stick. Continue all windows in the same manor.
The front doors are done in a similar way, remove backing paper,
stick to acetate, remove backing from second doors and stick back to
back with first set
Tip: Burnish well from rear using hard flat tool. I use handle
of scalpel or Ice block stick.
Insert doors into hole with glue. You have 2 options for the look of your
front doors, using 1 side or the other.
