Speaker’s Profile

JOHN RHONIEL B. MATEO, RN, LPT

Mr. John Rhoniel B. Mateo is a licensed nurse and a licensed educator. Presently, Mr. Mateo
is the Senior High School Teacher of Camiling Colleges, Inc. in Camiling, Tarlac. Also, he
is taking up his Masters of Science in Nursing in Central Luzon Doctors’ Hospital –
Educational Institution.

Mr. Mateo is a Gawad Gurong Genyo awardee AY 2018-2019. Mr. Mateo shared his expertise
and experience on using Genyo in his classes and embraces innovative learning.

Through his experience as a Genyo champion teacher, he was given the privilege as the
representative in Tarlac Province for this year’s Genyo Bootcamp.

He is an advocate of online learning and innovative education. He is also concerned with

use of Learning Management System (LMS) focusing on reinforcing, supplementing and
extending the knowledge and skills to teachers so that they can become exemplary users of
technology in education.

He has a great understanding of the LMS program and promotes his passion to truly
empower his colleagues to become catalysts of change by supervising and mentoring them
to ensure the delivery of all commitments of the GENYO e-Learning Program in their school.
