SHAR (SDSC SHAR) is a lead Centre of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO)situated at
Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh. SDSC SHAR has facilities of Solid Propellant Production, a Rocket
Motor Static Test Facility and Launch Complexes for launching variety of rockets, rocket tracking
through sophisticated radar and optical tracking systems and real time data acquisition and
processing facilities and other support services including logistics. SDSC SHAR, Sriharikota has also
fifty four (54) bedded multi speciality hospital with dedicated Lab, Radiology Department, TMT,
ECHO, Endoscopy, Telemedicine etc.

Candidates applying for the post reserved for PWBD have to submit an attested copy of

Candidates who meet eligibility criteria will be short-listed to appear for the Written Test,
which will be conducted at Chennai. Written Test consists of objective type questions based on
academic curriculum of B.E/B.Tech (or) M.E/M.Tech as the case may be. Based on the
performance in the Written Test, candidates will be shortlisted for interview. Written Test is
only a first level screening and Written Test score will not be considered for final selection
process. The final selection will be based on the performance of the candidates in the
interview only.

Candidates meeting the norms will be shortlisted for Interview. The qualification prescribed is
the minimum requirement and possession of the same does not automatically make the

will be done to short-list candidates for Interview. Final selection will be based on the
performance of the candidates in the Interview and those who secure minimum 60% marks in
