Industry4.

0 lab:

New technologies are set to transform productivity in the next few years, a process referred
to as the 4th Industrial Revolution or Industry 4.0.

The industrial and manufacturing industries have been at the forefront of the practical
application of technology and automation for decades. When you think about IT's future, you
probably don’t think about factories. But the evolution of something called Industry 4.0 may be the
model for IT's future strategy.
New Industry 4.0 technologies, have undergone a
phase of major development and is now commercially
available. This holds the key to accessing real-time results and
data that will catapult the industry into new levels of lean
achievements.

The concept of Industry 4.0 is vast and envelops many

technologies and is being used in a gamut of different contexts.
There are major pieces of the puzzle that define Industry 4.0 at
its core. Each piece is similar in nature but, when integrated
together, they create capability that has never before been
possible thus contributing to the next industrial revolution.

The industry is relying on smart digital data for which

communication and the changes required are numerous and
extensive. In general, there is a lack of understanding of how
new technologies are beneficial.
