About the Company
A A Energy Ltd started its first biomass power plant which operates on rice husk as fuel at the rural
area of Maharashtra in Gadchiroli in the year January 2009. The company has also set up a 150 tpd

About the Company
ADHPL , a subsidiary of Malana Power Co of LNJ Bhilwara Group is located at village Prini, Tehsil
Manali, District Kullu a distance of 60 kms from Bhuntar airport, Kullu. It is 500 km away from Delhi by
road. The project utilises water from the Hamtal and Pataori Himalayan streams, which form the
Allain river, and from the Chandar Tal glacier-fed Duhangan river.

Water is transferred from separate intakes and underground headrace tunnels into a common
intermediate reservoir before being discharged through a steel/concrete lined pressure shaft into the
underground powerhouse at Prini village which is located near Manali town. Power is transmitted to
the national grid connection point located at Nalagarh via a high voltage 175 KM long 220 KV
transmission line built by the company.

About the Company
A2Z began its operations in Facility Management Services (FMS) and later entered the Engineering

About the Company
Abhijeet Power Limited is a power project development company in India. They are currently
developing three thermal power projects with a combined installed capacity of 2,671.6 MW in the
states of Maharashtra, Jharkhand and Bihar. They intend to sell the power generated from these
projects under a variety of off-take arrangements, including long, medium and short term PPAs to
state owned and private distribution companies, private power trading companies and industrial
consumers, and on merchant basis.
Current Projects
Abhijeet Group is planning to set up a captive power plant in Gauraha & Jijnauri villages in
Vijayaraghavgarh Tehsil in Katni district of Madhya Pradesh. The project involves setting up of blended
cement unit with a capacity of 3.0 mtpa, clinker unit of 3.0 mtpa, a waste heat recovery power plant of
10 MW and a captive power plant of 36 MW.
Latest Update : Commissioning :
As of July 2015, the group has been caught in coalgate scam and its assets are being sold to asset
restructuring company at a discount. Further progress can be seen by end of 2016.

Jharkhand Electric Co. Pvt. Ltd (JECL) is the CESC-controlled company of the RPG group and Jas
Infrastructure Co Ltd of Abhijeet group which have formed a joint venture company to manage the
annual coal requirement of CESC's 1000 mega watt thermal venture in Jharkhand.

The company is setting up a 1000 MW coal based thermal power project in Katikund village in Dumka
district of Jharkhand. The project cost is estimated at Rs. 50,000 million and coal linkage was granted in
November 2007. The Detail Project Report (DPR) has also been prepared.
Latest Update : Commissioning : Dec-2018
As of July 2015, the project is awaiting coal linkage, as the earlier coal linkage had been cancelled.
Further, there had been protest and unrests and an alternative site was identified as Danro village in
Dumka district of Jharkhand. The other statutory clearance are in order and land acquisition is under
fast progress. The project is likely to go operational in 2018.

Kaizn Power Ltd, a special purpose vehicle of Abhijeet group is setting up a 300 MW thermal power
project in Visakhapatinam in Andhra Pradesh. The project cost is estimated at Rs. 16,440 million and is
funded by debt: equity ratio of 4:1. The debt portion has been underwritten by UCO bank.

The company has awarded the BTG contract worth of Rs. 6300 million to BHEL in March 2012. The
project has yet to complete land acquisition.

BHEL is going slow on equipment as the project is facing funding issues.
