Clayoo
Welcome
Clayoo® is an advanced modeling application with the ability to effortlessly create any form,
however complex, efficiently and accurately. Mixing technologies as SubD, Emboss and
Sculpting, it's like modeling by hand! This is the concept of Clayoo®. It doesn't matter whether
you start from a sketch, curve, or a 3-D object, you can pull, push, and move until you get what
you want.
Ideal for designing architecture, jewelry, consumer products, toys, aerospace, marine, furniture
etc. Anyone who needs to create complex free-form shapes can use Clayoo®.
Not only modeling, but manufacturing. Clayoo® geometry is great for manufacturing prototypes
and molds. When exporting to STL Clayoo® automatically generates closed meshes.
For reverse engineering with advanced retopology tools Clayoo® allows you to easily create
surfaces over digitized objects and to convert the result intro NURBS surfaces.
Key Benefits
Edit using the most advanced tools such as join, break, divide, separate, offset,
raise, move, extrude, plunge, shell, and much more. The possibilities are
endless.
Reverse engineer scan data, and STL meshes to Clayoo surfaces or NURBS.

Clayoo
Allows varying levels of detail across one object. For example, when modeling
a face, you can use higher definition around the eyes and eyebrows.
The Clayoo plug-in has been created by TDM Solutions in and for Rhinoceros.
Emboss
Intuitively, we can create 3D models from photos and / or curves for different sectors such as:
furniture, sign, jewelry, gift, awards and trophies, medallions, ADA signage...
Main Features
1. Advanced tools for puffing in Add, Subtract, Union Highest, Union Lowest, Z Max...
All that you need! No limits!
2. More than 70 brushes available, and ability to create from the graphical editor or
simply from a curve.
6. With Raster to vector, we can extract the curves of any picture or drawing. This is
useful to start the model from images.
8. Computation by GPU.

Clayoo
Sculpting
Sculpting is a Command to model a mesh using Brushes for engraving, sculpture and
texturing.
We can edit 3D models from meshes for different sectors such as: architecture, jewelry,
consumer products, toys, aerospace, marine, furniture etc...
Main Features
1. Advanced tools for puffing in Brush, Crease, Drag, Flatten, Inflate... All that you
need! No limits!
2. More than 10 operations to edit the mesh, and ability to create from the Clayoo

System requirements
The following is a list and explanation of minimum and recommended technical specifications
for a computer to run Clayoo effectively. If you have questions about a computer you are
about to purchase, please feel free to contact Technical Support for assistance.
Computer Type
Laptop and Desktop computer systems, with mouse and keyboard, are the only computer
systems that can run our products effectively.
Tablet style computers, such as the Microsoft Surface, are not recommended.
Tablet style computers are popular for their compact size and portability, but at this time
they do not have the recommended hardware performance, especially graphics cards, to
run our products effectively. You may be able to install and run our software, but the
experience will likely be very slow and limited. Additionally, our software is not designed to
utilize a touch screen interface and must use a mouse and keyboard.
Processor
Minimum: Intel i5 Quad Core 2GHz or higher
Recommended: Intel i7 Quad Core, 2GHz or higher (Preferred for increased performance
in rendering)
Clayoo is a very processor intensive program, so getting a fast processor is the best way
to increase your performance. We do not recommend the i3 chipset for Clayoo as they are
only dual-core entry level processors in the ‘i series’, and are meant more for low-power
mobile platforms. While you can find a suitable computer with an i5 chip, if you plan on
doing a lot of rendering, animations, or multi-tasking, the i7 would be a better option.
RAM
Minimum: 4GB
Recommended: 8GB - 12GB or more
RhinoGold is a 64bit program that can use as much memory as your computer has
available. Generally 8GB is plenty for most designers, however, if you plan on using your
computer for more than just Clayoo, more memory would be helpful.
8 / 200
Clayoo
Our technical support team only recommends the GeForce Series of NVIDIA Graphics
cards. Visit NVIDIA’s website for detailed descriptions of the various models. Please
contact our technical support team if you have any questions.
Operating System
Supported Operating Systems for Clayoo:
(64-bit) Windows 7 Home Premium, Professional, or Ultimate
(64-bit) Windows 8/8.1 Standard, Pro, or Enterprise
(64-bit) Windows 10
Hard Drive
Minimum: 120GB free main hard drive space
Recommended: 512GB SSD with 1TB Data HDD
DVD Rom
Monitor Resolution
Minimum: 1440 × 900
Recommended: 1920 × 1080 or higher (4K monitors not supported)
Some monitors may have other resolutions that will work for you. Native Resolution is the
number of pixels that the monitor was made with. Flat panel monitors are available with
almost any Native Resolution but must be run at that setting or else the display will be
blurry.
A 21 inch monitor is a comfortable size for most people, but if you present to a customer who
is looking at the screen from a distance, a 24 inch or larger monitor might be more effective.
Desktop and laptop monitors vary in display appearance and quality – it’s best to visit a store
so you get a feel for the monitor before deciding on a size and resolution.
Recommended Anti-Virus
Windows 7: Microsoft Security Essentials (Download)
Windows 8: Microsoft Defender (comes with Windows 8)
Windows 10: Microsoft Defender (comes with Windows 10)
Due to incompatibility issues outside of our control, Our Technical support team does not
recommend the following Anti-Virus programs: McAfee.

Emboss
Emboss
Emboss is a software to create reliefs from curves, images, and geometry, Emboss works with a
list of operations which can be configured depending of our purposes.
Getting Started
1.- To start using Emboss first we'll need add an operation, so click over Add operation button:
To add a new operation, now your panel will have an operation like this one:
And selecting one or more curve from the document, once the curves are selected click enter
and the button will looks like this one:
Note: If you add an operation with any curve(s) selected, them will be added automatically to
this new operation).
