ANNEX 9 PROJECT WORK PLAN AND BUDGET MATRIX

Project Title: Indigenous tools for caregiving use

Problem Statement: It is safe to say that equipment, tools or materials that are used to study caregiving are considered
to be costly, for obvious reasons those are classified as medical items, which are usually imported or made up of expensive
materials. The usual dilemma is that students may find it difficult or sometimes impossible to study or learn a specific
caregiving skill which requires a hands-on experience to master the competency.

Project Objective Statement: This project will address the need of caregiving apparatus that are not available for the
students to use, it will also benefit the environment because instead of using non-biodegradable materials, only native
raw materials will be utilize.

Root Cause: The lack of funds may be address by utilizing what the community can provide, it is cost effective, nature
friendly and readily available.
