1.0 PURPOSE

When development of new model or introduces new facility, Operation standard is established for
guide of operator to ensure the safety and maintain a stable quality as per customer expectations.

2.0 SCOPE
This procedure is applicable to production, Quality, Packing & Storage department of the
Organizations

3.0 RESPONSIBILITY
3.1 AM Production is responsible to design and create work instruction sheet after observing
the job done by operators.

3.2 DM. Quality review and make sure that all activities which are done by operator for
completing job are covered in work instructions sheet.

3.3 Engineering & Development Head/ Departmental HOD is responsible to approve work
instruction sheet and make necessary changes if needed.

3.4 Production supervisor is responsible to implement the work instruction sheet on every
process and make sure processes done by following WIS.

4.0 PROCEDURE
The Activities related to prepared WIS are as follows:

4.1 HSE officer analyze the working environment and identified process related PPEs to avoid
safety hazards.

4.2 Establish Process related safety & PPEs (Method, Clothes & equipment’s & procedure)
instruction added in work instruction sheet along with pictorial view.)

4.3 Die setting on machine Detailed instruction added for die setter guide line.

4.4 Safety points of machine detailed instruction added in WIS to ensure the machine operations
with safety.
4.5 Quality check points added in “WIS” with defect detail.to ensure the parts quality.
4.6 Production supervisor arranges the training to concerned personnel about work instruction

4.7 Production supervisors is responsible to paste approved work instructions on every station.

4.10 Production supervisor make sure that job are done by following up work instruction sheets.

5.0 REVISION PROCEDUER.

Review & revise the work instruction sheet when work is changed by engineering change/facility
changed flection of volume supply stable quality to customer.

6.0 Management of WIS.

AM Production is responsible to keep the work instruction sheet in project file with control for a
model life & distribute copy to related/applicable process. Post & retain copied WIS with protector
from dirty on gemba.
