the address entry is invited to the references cited, wherein the Government of
Telangana has issued the orders enhancing the rates of development charges.
Hence all the officers concerned are instructed to follow the rates as applicable
in their respective jurisdiction.

whereas. in the G.O. read above Government have issued orders
specifying the rates of devetopment charges to be levied by Urban Locat
Bodies (other than UDA Areas) under section 18A,188 of Telangana Town
Ptanning Act, 1920 duty amending the Rute 51 of the Tetangana Town
Ptanning Rutes ,1920.

And whereas, it has come to the notice of the Government that

t_,r Devetopment of Green belts, Formation of Master Ptan Roads, Parks and

costs of providing infrastructure and other services have gone up

('-l'I 3. In the ctrcumstances read above, Government after careful
examination of the matter have decided to revise the rates of devetopment
charges to be levied by Urban Locat Bodies (other than UDAS),

4, These rates of devetopment charges are appticabte to (i) att pending

cases where the final orders have not been issued by the State Government
in respect of cases pertaining to change of tand use and (ii) in respect of
devetopment permissions where amount of devetopment charges payabte
has not been communicated by Director of Town and Country ptanning
/Municipatity/ Grampanchayath as on the date of issue of these oroers.

5. Accordingty fottowing notification shatt be pubtished in the Extra

Ordinary issue of the Telangana Gazette Dated:01 .09.2016 and shalt come
into force from the date of Notification.

6. The Commissioner of Printing, Stationary and Stores purchase is

requested to pubtish the notification in the next issue of the Tetanqana
Gazette and suppty 100 copies of the notification.

_. In exercise of powers conferred by Section 44 of the Telangana Town

Planning Act,1920the Governor of Telangana hereby makes the fottowing
amendment to Rute 51-A of the Tetangana Town planning Rutes,192O.

Reddy Municipaiity, Bhuvanagiri Municipatity and 849 vittages which were
hitherto Part of Hyderabad Urban Development Authority and constituting
the Hyderabad Metropotitan devetopment Authority. In pursuance of the
same in the G.O. 5s iead above orders were issued dissotving Hyderabad
Urban Devetopment Authority, Hyderabad Airport Deve[opment Authorjty ,
Cyberabad DeveloPmen'. Authority , Buddha Pooinima Project Auihority
and vesting alt assets and tiabitities in the Hyderabad Metropotitan
DeveLopment AuthoritY,

3, And whereas, in the reference 6rn read above MetroPotitan

Commissioner, Hyderabad Metropotitan Deve[opment Authority(HMDA) has
brought to the notice of the Government that Hyderabad Metropotitan
Development Authority (HMDA) is utitizing the devetopment charges to
imptement essential projects [ike Construction of Bridges, Protection of
Lakes, Development of Green betts, Formation of Master Plan Roads, Parks
and various other projects in the interest of ptanned urban growth and the
costs of providing infrastructure and other services have gone up
substantiatly whereas, devetopment charges have not been revised since
2007 and submitted a proposal to Government for enhancement of rates of
devetopment charges,

4. Government, after carefuI consideration of the matter and in
exercise of the powers conferred under Section 55(2)(x) of Hyderabad
Metropotitan Devetopment Authority (HMDA) Act 2008 read with Section
45(1) of the said Act have approved the proposat sent by Metropotitan
Commissioner, Hyderabad MetropoUtan Devetopment Authority and hereby
specify the rates of development charges to be (evied jn Hyderabad
Metropohtan Devetopment Authority Area. These rates of devetopment
charges are applicabte to (i) atl pending cases where the fjnal orders have
not been issued by the State Government in respect of cases pertaining to
change of tand use and (ii) jn respect of development permissions where
amount of devetopment charges payabte has not been communicated by
HMDA/ GHMC /Municipatity/Grampanchayath as on the date of issue of these
orders. Further orders issued in G.O.Ms.No.275, dated:12.07.2012 to tevy
75% of the devetopment charges in extended area of erstwhite Hyderabad
Urban Devetopment Authority(HUDA)/ Hyderabad Airport DevetoPment
Authority (HADA) jurisdiction are herby withdrawn for the reasons that
these areas were added in Hyderabad Metropoutan Devetopment Authority
(HMDA) jurisdiction severaI years ago.

5. Accordingly, the foltowing notjfication is issued and the same shall

be pubtished in the Extra Ordjnary issue of the Tetangana Gazette
Dated:07.09.2016 and shalt come into force from the date of Notification.

6. The Commissjoner of Prjnting, Stationary and Stores Purchase is

requested to pubtish the notification 'in the next issue of the Tetangana
Gazelte and suppty 100 copjes of the notification.

In exercise of powers conferred under sub-section (2) of Section 56
of Hyderabad Metropolitan Devetopment Authority (HMDA) Act 2008 read
with Section 45(1) of said Act, the Governor of Tetangana hereby specify
the fottowing rates of development charges to be tevied in Hyderabad
Metropolitan Deve(opment Authority Area.
