Mpre Narrative Report2019-2020
INSET allows teachers to acquire professional goals for the success of the school as a
whole and increase the current level of knowledge and skills in their target areas. It will
help mobilize teachers towards a modernized way of teaching and orient them of the
latest trends in the teaching industry.
Every year is another opportunity for teachers to gain knowledge on the best way to
improve their methods and strategies. It is even more imperative now due to the change
in the attitudes and needs of learners in adherence to the growing advancement of
technology in their lives.
Rationale
The training will be a culmination of each teacher’s skills and efforts towards creating
better learning environment for the learners. It will also serve as an orientation for new
teachers in order to familiarize them in their work environment and have an overview of
the organization’s expectations.
Furthermore, the training will ensure that teachers are equipped with augmented
strategies and methods whether it be in the area of classroom management,
documentation, curricular activities and more.

The invitation were given to each participants containing the program and
schedule of activities each day. Wide dissemination through social media were
was also implemented to secure full attendance.
Day 1
PICTURE
LES teachers actively participated in the opening program. The weeklong Mid-Year In-
service Training 2019 commenced on October 21, 2019. Registration started at 8:00
am. The opening program begun by a prayer which followed by the singing of the
national anthem, aspirations using AVP. The participants enjoyed the Zumba dance to
energize the event. The MOL facilitator was the KD teachers.
Sir Mohammad A. Andatuan started the program by addressing the crowd in his
opening remarks. He expressed his gratitude to LES teachers for participating in the
event so they revamp their teaching strategies and gain a better understanding on
DepEd’s goal of producing globalized educators. He then encouraged the teachers to
not take the seminar lightly but rather, treat it as opportunity to build professional
development as well as intensify the camaraderie between the groups.
In the afternoon, all schools belong to Apopong District convened to one place for a so
called District Meeting. The activities were as follows:

Registration of the seminar started at 8:00 am. The opening ceremony was facilitated by
the Grade I teachers. Recap of the previous discussion was reviewed by Ma’am Cynthia
