Lab#10

Given values:

Source, I= 4A , Source, I2= 9A , Source, I3= 4A

Resistor, R1 = 1 Resistor, R2 = 1

Resistor, R3 = 1 Resistor, R4 = 1

Resistor, R5 = 1 Resistor, R6 = 1

To Find:

I have to find current in each branch by using KCL and verify my numerical values using EWB.

Answer:

Solving circuit problem by hand, first I find node voltage then current in each branch.

Voltage at node Va = 0.75 V

Voltage at node Vb = 2 V

Voltage at node Vc = 5.25 V

Current in each branch:

IR1 = 1.25 A IR2 = 3.25 A

IR3 = 2 A IR4 = 0.75 A

IR5 = 5.25 A IR6 = 4.50 A

Note:

I verify my values in EWB and my values matched with EWB values.

Minus sign shows direction of current.

Lab Task:.
Job#1

I change the values of source and resistors of circuit.

Source, I1= I2 = I3 = 4 A

Resistor, R1 = 3 Resistor, R2 = 3

Resistor, R3 = 1 Resistor, R4 = 2

Resistor, R5 = 2 Resistor, R6 = 2

Solving circuit for these values I get

Voltage at node Va = 3.532 V

Voltage at node Vb = 2.286 V

Voltage at node Vc = 7.896 V

Now current in each branch

IR1 = 0.416 A IR2 = 1.83 A

IR3 = 2.26 A IR4 = 1.62 A

IR5 = 3.88 A IR6 = 2.18 A

Minus sign shows direction of current.
