• Phillips screwdriver, No.2 (Long driver (shaft length): more than 250 mm)
• Phillips screwdriver, No.2 (Less than 200 mm in length）

Note that there are two types of Ink supply systems described below with
different shapes. Since the assembly method of stand and ink supply systems
differs depending on the type, be sure to follow the correct procedure that can be
identified with the serial number.

It is recommended to assemble the stand by a group of three.

turns to fasten the
parts temporarily. The

Set the plate to the Stand Right

You must set this plate before placing main unit on the stand. Set hex 2pcs bolts temporarily.

When carrying the printer, use at least 4 persons.
When lifting the printer unit, only hold the highlighted area. Otherwise, it may
affect normal operation and printing.

2. Tighten 10 screws.

1. Tighten Right Long Screw until the thickness(2.0mm) gauges can be moved smoothly
at 2 locations(Black and Cyan).
There is gap somehow.

moved smoothly, AGAIN at 2 locations(Black and Cyan).

8. Attach the rightmost ink tank. Push it to the back while pushing it down.

screw slit at the bottom of the tank.

Fill ink into ink tank
1. Shake all ink packs before ink filling ink tank.
（Horizontal :5cm (both side) 15times/5sec.
2. Cut the pour spot of ink pack by scissors.
Don’t cut deeply. Because

this position is guide when
pure the ink.

3. Fill the ink tank with the ink from the ink pack.
<Caution>
1. Get all the ink out of the ink pack so that there is none remaining.
Do not use the ink in an ink pack to refill multiple different ink
tanks. This can cause messages from the remaining ink warning
system to not be displayed properly.
2. Do not turn on printer before filling all inks.
3. Confirm whether Ink Tank color is suitable for Ink Pack color when
fill the ink.

FW update
Please do NOT turn on printer before filling all inks!
After filling all ink as pictures, please turn on printer by FW update mode.

1) Please check the CURRENT FW version.

2) Please update the latest FW. (Printer turn off automatically.)
3) Please turn on the printer by FW update mode again.
4) Please check the FW version which you updated. If OK, please turn off printer.

Ink charge
1. Power ON (Normal mode) 2. Set the printer setting (Language, Calendar etc.)
3. Start Ink Charge after making sure waste ink bottle was set.
While Ink charging, don’t touch the printer and covers.

Because some bad influence for ink charge process.

Nozzle check
Check the nozzle check pattern.

If you find the nozzle missing, please do cleaning (CL1 or CL2 or CL3).
