“NOTIFICATION”

Himachal Pradesh Staff Selection Commission today declared the result of Written
Objective Type Screening Test for the recruitment of 33 posts {Gen(UR)-14, Gen(BPL)-03,
OBC(UR)-05, OBC(BPL)-01, SC(UR)-06, SC(BPL)-01, SC(WFF)-01, ST(UR)-02} of Sub
Inspector of Police (on contract basis) Post Code: 729 held on 21th July, 2019 as per the
award list and ratio approved (1:20) by the Hon’ble Commission. The requisition to fill up these posts
was received from the Director General of Police HP Shimla-2 and advertised vide
advertisement No. 34-2/2018 dated 23.12.2018.
In response to this advertisement, 26320 applications were received out of which 22524
applications were provisionally admitted.
The Written Objective Type Screening Test was held on 21st July, 2019 in which 17731
candidates appeared and 4793 candidates remained absent. Out of total 17731 candidates appeared,
the following 691 candidates have been provisionally shortlisted for further selection process.

Physical Standard of Efficiency Test of the shortlisted candidates will be conducted w.e.f.
14.10.2019 to 16.10.2019 at 9:30 AM in the premises Ground of Government Polytechnic, Baru,
Hamirpur. They are directed to bring all original Essential Qualifications, Age & Category related
documents, set of self attested copies of all documents, one ID proof and copy of downloaded
application Form. In case a candidate does not appear for physical test on the day fixed for the test
he/she will not be considered for further selection process and no further opportunity will be given
thereafter.

HPSSC, Hamirpur. (http://www.hpsssb.hp.gov.in).

While every care has been taken in preparing the result, possibility of inadvertent errors
cannot be ruled out. The Commission reserves the right to rectify the same later on.
