Activity: “SENIOR HIGH DEPARTMENT VARIETY SHOW”

I. RATIONALE/ BACKGROUND
Senior High School Department especially the Grade-XI students, conducted a variety
show with regards on their subject, Career Guidance Program with a theme “Rising towards
the Reality of my Dreams” in Sgt. Prospero G. Bello High School-Main (Gymnasium)
located at Napaliong, Jones, Isabela last January 24, 2019.
The objective of the said activity is to enhance, equip, and improve the student’s skills in
choosing their career in the near future.
Furthermore, on that one (1) day activity you can see that all the Grade-XI students give
their very best, efforts and sacrifices just to make the event successfully.
II. ACTUAL IMPLEMENTATION
BEFORE
Before we conducted the said activity the SHS-Focal Person, Mr. Melchor Battara
Matterig Jr. together with Ms. Faith Desiree Julian and Ms. Frenchelle A. Nacar, Grade-XI
advisers discuss what will be the flow of the activity. After that, Grade-XI students brainstormed
and planned what will be the activities and presentations that they will be performing.
 DURING
Valen Joy Eniva and Loraine Apple Publico open the program with a short incites on
what we are going to do and perform to the students. We started the program with a Welcome
Address coming from Mr. Melchor B. Matterig Jr. the SHS-Focal Person. Afterwards, Ms.
Jencent Eniva, the team leader of the said activity gave her Opening Remarks. Then, an
Intermission Number was performed by the selected Grade-XI students, followed by the
Primamoda and lastly a Showtime which include drama, comedy, and the mass dance. The
program was done and seeing the students with a simple curve in their face made me think that
all those sacrifices and efforts, from preparation up to the end it was all worth it.
AFTER

After the restoration, I conclude that everyone really equipped with knowledge and we
have enhance their skills when it comes on choosing their career path in the near future. We have
motivated and inspired them on what career or courses they will going to take. Therefore, we
will going to treasure all the new memories, all the new journeys and all the challenges that we
have accepted coming from our teachers at Senior High School Department.
III. RECOMMENDATION
This program has a big impact on the students’s life because they will be able to improve and
mold their skills and talents, and abilities.
This is a lesson for everyone through treasuring this precious experience in their lives to
learn to develop their personality as well as their skills in becoming wise, aware and successful
individuals soon.
