Greetings from the Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost)

As part of PHLPost’s advocacy to bring back the passion for letter writing, we are pleased to
inform you that the nationwide “Salamat Po” Letter Writing Raffle Promo Project in
coordination with the Department of Education (DepEd), is now on its 5th year of
implementation.

This year’s implementation aims to give focus on extending appreciation to teachers for the
important role they play in the lives of the students and in society. Thus, this year’s theme
would be “SALAMAT PO, TEACHER” wherein students will be encouraged to send “Thank
You” Letters to their teachers. The duration of this Letter Writing Raffle Promo will commence
in September 2017, in time for the celebration of the National Teachers Month, and will end in
March 2018.

Once again, we would like to respectfully request for your support by encouraging students to
express their gratitude to their teachers through letters.

We would appreciate it very much if you will give us a chance to conduct a school visit anytime
at your convenience to further discuss the project.
